What is a Resonant Recharge?

A Resonant Recharge is a full-body listening experience, often referred to as a sound bath or sound meditation, using overtone-rich instruments to slow brainwaves, support the nervous system, and invite deep rest.

With nothing required but your presence, this practice offers a safe and nurturing space to simply be. There is no right or wrong way to experience it…

Through gentle sound and spacious awareness, our sessions:

  • Soothe overstimulation

  • Enhance focus

  • Support nervous system regulation

  • Deepen self-connection beyond words

The intention is to guide you from your everyday waking state into a parasympathetic, restorative space—where the body can naturally return to balance.

What to expect?

You’ll be invited to settle in—lying down or finding a comfortable seated position. You’re welcome to cozy up with a blanket or eye mask to support deeper relaxation.

We begin with a brief guided grounding, followed by a gradual introduction of sound using crystal singing bowls, chimes, gongs, tuning forks, and drums. The experience closes with stillness and gentle movement to help you re-emerge with ease.

Leave feeling lighter, calmer, and deeply supported.

FAQs

  • Each event may vary slightly, so be sure to check individual event details for what to expect. For example, at our signature Monthly Reset and Union Yoga sound meditations in Fortville, we ask guests to bring a yoga mat or zero-gravity chair to maximize comfort. At the Salt Cave, zero-gravity chairs are provided for your convenience.

You may also want to bring:

    • A blanket for warmth (your body temperature may drop during deep rest)

    • A pillow, bolster, or rolled blanket to support your knees and lower back

    • A sleep mask or scarf to block light and amplify your hearing senses

Most importantly, we encourage you to bring an open heart and a curious mind—ready to follow wherever the sound may lead.

  • Comfort is key. We recommend loose-fitting, cozy layers that help your body relax. If you tend to get cold, bring an extra layer or a warm shawl. And don’t forget socks—warm feet make a big difference!

  • Absolutely. Lying down is just one option for receiving sound. Many guests prefer sitting on a cushion or in a chair. Have a zero-gravity lawn chair? Bring it along—they’re perfect for this experience.

  • Yes! No meditation experience is required. In fact, sound meditation is a great place to start if you’re new to mindfulness.

Unlike traditional meditation where you might focus on silencing thoughts, sound naturally slows brainwave activity, guiding you gently into a meditative state—no effort required.

  • Each person’s experience is unique. Most guests leave feeling calm, clear, or deeply relaxed—some even feel energized. Occasionally, you may feel tired, emotional, or experience physical sensations such as tingles or temperature shifts during or after the session. These are often signs of energetic release or nervous system regulation.

If at any point you feel discomfort, listen to your body and pause to rest.

    Before and after your session:
Drink plenty of water and aim for a good night’s sleep. These practices will help support your body in integrating the experience.
